The Alliance of Non-Traditional Students at UNLV

The Alliance of Non-Traditional Students, aka ANTS, a Registered Student Organization at UNLV, was formed by and is run by students, to provide support and fellowship for the "non-traditional students"(NTS). From admissions through graduation. Over 30% of undergraduate students at UNLV are categorized as non-traditional. Our goal is a collaborative effort to strengthen campus relationships as well as bringing awareness to the needs of this large, diverse demographic on the campus.

What is an NTS?
Older than the average student (though there is no age restriction) * Having a large gap between ending high school and beginning college * Being neurodiverse * Returning to college to finish a degree *  Formerly incarcerated * Seeking a second career *  Working full-time or part-time while enrolled*  Disabled * Being married with/without children *  Justice or socially impacted *  Being a single parent or an adult caregiver * A veteran * Having a GED when entering college.
