ABFHiB - History and Philosophy of Biology

The Brazilian Association of Philosophy and History of Biology (ABFHiB) was founded on August 17, 2006, during the IV Meeting of Philosophy and History of Biology, held at Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo, SP.

The objective of ABFHiB is to promote and disseminate studies on the philosophy and history of biology, as well as their interfaces, establishing cooperation and communication among all its member researchers.

ABFHiB's main activities are the organization of events and periodic publications, the Bulletin of History and Philosophy of Biology, which disseminates news in our field, and the journal Philosophy and History of Biology, which publishes original articles in the field.
