Follow the long road of building a military 7-ton truck into an expedition RV and working toward a life with a little more freedom over how time is spent.

This channel documents the real process: fabrication, mechanical repair, shop projects, land work, and the slow learning that comes from building things with your own hands. Many of the projects start with inexpensive vehicles, tools, and equipment that need creativity and patience to bring back to life.

The goal is simple—develop useful skills, build capable machines, and travel across North America in search of quiet places and meaningful work. Along the way you’ll also see the landscapes and journeys that feed the photography of Jason’s Light Works.
