A Life of Reading – Gabriela de Mendonça Gomes

Hi, I'm Gabriela. I write and record essays about literature, philosophy, and the history of ideas, a.k.a. the records of the enduring human effort to understand reality through words. Reading, for me, teaches us the art of being beyond merely existing and that of seeing beyond simply looking. I also write essays on substack and bimonthly newsletters for Book XI, a journal of literary philosophy.
