All sorts of cultural and comic malarky from Charlie Hill-Smith and his creative comrades. 

Charlie is a multi-award winning writer, director, producer and visual artist. He has produced films for ABCTV, SBSTV, NITV, Channel 10, Redbull.TV and Sony New York: being nominated for ‘Best Director’ and ‘Best Film’ by the Australian Academy/AFI Awards for Strangebirds in Paradise-A West Papuan Story.  Twenty five years of experience as an artist, cartoonist, actor, writer, director, marketer and ferret handler; has seen Charlie use humour and culture to tackle complex and weighty issues of historical and social importance. 

Charlie has made films and negotiated cross cultural protocols in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, China and remote Indigenous Australia. He has a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from the University of South Australia; and has conceived and directed marketing campaigns in film, television, theatre, and hospitality.
