4x4 Overlanding and other Adventures

When I was six years old I remember sitting on the floor at school listening to the principal reading about some scouts who took a Land Rover and went to look for the Lost City of the Kalahari. Little did I know then but almost 40 years later I would be leading an expedition to look for the Lost City.

I discovered that adventure was in my blood. I climbed, sailed, paddled white water, was a member of the team that won the Land Rover Media Trek competition. I started offroading in 1980 with a Hilux, then led a number of expeditions and was sponsored by Pajero and Land Rover. My next expedition was to abseil down a sinkhole, then dived wrecks in the West Indies, I got my pilots license and carried on exploring.

I have driven over 2 million km in Africa & circumnavigated New Zealand by road three times.
