4BY6 is a guitar-free groove-metal trio from Brno, Czech Republic, formed during the 2020 lockdown. The band forges its own path with guitar-less live shows and a sound that prizes raw impact and groove above everything else.

On record, 4BY6 does use guitars—tracked in-house to sculpt wide, layered walls. On stage, however, they perform as a trio: drums + bass + vocals, with zero backing tracks and no guitars. Songs are re-arranged for the live set so the pedalboard-driven bass carries both riffs and harmony, locking into broken, unconventional rhythms with precise, hard-hitting drums. Vocals are a volatile mix—growls, screams, harsh grit, and clean lines—adding both character and emotional weight. Lyrically, 4BY6 explore social critique, philosophy, and dark imagery.
