40 acres - the series

“40 acres” is a fictional yet possible realistic answer to a problem that has plagued Black People for years … and that is, can we, and should we as a Race of people actually leave the United States and start our own country? The series details the obstacles and struggles not only to create such a habitat, but the challenges of moving millions to a new land. For those Blacks who are willing to leave everything behind for a new start, there’s also the challenge of the unknown … as well as the adjustment of possibly leaving some loved ones behind, and the life we’ve come to know.

This is a story of frustration, pride, hope, and the excitement of a life always dreamed of by those who have been oppressed for so long … but it is also a reflection of us as a People, our Identity … and the inward struggles we must overcome.
