Every Labor Day weekend we celebrate the Feast of the Three Saints, honoring three martyred brothers executed in the year 253 by Roman authorities in Sicily for refusing to renounce their Christian faith. The Society maintains a tradition from the 1500s carried over the Atlantic by immigrants from Trecastagni, Sicily where the Saints rested en route to Lenitni, site of their martyrdom. The Saints Alfio, Filadelfo & Cirino Society was founded in 1921 and holds a Festa every year to continue the veneration and celebration of these three holy brothers.
