2e Dad

I'm Jon. My daughter is twice-exceptional — gifted and autistic, with a PDA profile. She's also homeschooled, sensory-seeking, and the reason I know more about demand avoidance than any parent should have to.

This channel exists because when I was looking for answers, most of what I found was either clinical jargon or toxic positivity. Nothing felt like a real parent talking.

Here, we do it differently. I dig into the research — then translate it into what it actually means for Tuesday at 6pm when your kid won't put on shoes. We cover PDA, autism (especially in girls), sensory processing, ADHD, and twice-exceptionality. Because underneath all those labels is one kid who needs to be understood, not fixed.

If your child is gifted but struggling, late-diagnosed, autistic without the stereotypes, or just… a lot — you're in the right place.

Subscribe. We're just getting started.
