Ekāy

Ekāy creates electronic music that begins where technology ends.

Blending cinematic soundscapes, electroswing, house, ambient textures and soulful performances, his music explores the human experience through emotion, imperfection and the space between the digital and the organic.

His debut EP, Time, moves from cosmic ambient soundscapes to soulful electroswing, exploring humanity, the vastness of the universe and the vulnerability of falling in love. Featuring Time with Holly Prothman, In A Trance with Ryder, (You Give Me) Fever, reimagining Peggy Lee’s iconic 1958 recording, and an electronic interpretation of Nina Simone’s I Put A Spell On You.

Ekāy also brings his distinctive sound to remixes of artists including Amerie, Drake, Yebba, Coldplay, Selena Gomez, Zak Abel, Rihanna and The Weeknd, gaining attention on Audius.

Emotion before the algorithm. Human imperfection over digital perfection.

Welcome to the world of Ekāy.
