Primary School of Zipari - ARISS 2023

The Primary School of Zipari  is located on the island of Kos in the Dodecanese in Greece.
It is on an island with 35,000 inhabitants in the southern part of the country. The entire school consists of 400 students aged 6-12 and 45 teachers. In addition, since 2018, refugee students have been studying at our school.
The intention of the educational community is to follow modern trends in teaching and education in general and to participate in innovative programs that will promote the learning process. The school participates in European Erasmus+ programs and often takes part in pan-Hellenic competitions. This year an Astronomy School Club has been formed to prepare students for their participation in the ARISS program.
