When a motha interrupts Mr. Rogers, then all da bros in da hood gonna be coming over fo little "visit," in the near future. You don't mess with Rogers.
Mr Rogers told kids that they are special and important just the way they are. Now Disney tells kids You have to be slutty and covered in glitter and caked on makeup to have any worth. But more importantly Rogers was teaching us about REAL LIFE. Shows about jobs and family life, and then a section on make believe that he clearly said was Make Believe. Kids stuff today is just like...a bad acid trip or something. It entertains but doesn't TEACH. Long story short: Rogers did both.
