I’m sorry but you’re wrong. If you really want to crack down on trafficking, then you need to start criminalizing purchase of sex. In Sweden it’s illegal to buy sex (not to sell), in Denmark prostitution is legalized. Neighbouring countries. The number of victims of trafficking is four times higher in Denmark (and Sweden is almost twice as big). It should be no mans right to buy another human being. Simple as that.

If you really want to crack down on trafficking, then you need to start legalizing and regulating sex business in the western world. You probably won't ever completely be rid of it but you can make a big dent by not making sex and sex workers by extension not so taboo.
