@IamTheScorchedEarth It seems pretty obvious to me that what it really describes is someone basically being sucked into the game and becoming a part of it. It implies very heavily that Ryu and the rest of the cast used to be players just like him that got taken in by it.

Actually a very interesting song... i like the lyrics and the riff OMG the riff is amazing, but the meaning of the song also i like, its like a kid that breaks into an arcade at night and then has to fight his way out of the guards or some punks that came to do the same...
