MOONDOG WROTE THIS IN 1955 AND DEDICATED IT TO BENNY GOODMAN. MOONDOG WAS AN AMAZING COMPOSER AND A UNIQUE CHARACTER. BLINDED AS A TEEN, HE MOVED TO NEW YORK AND USED TO STAND IN FRONT OF THE IRON BUILDING (THAT AFFECTIONATELY BECAME KNOWN IN MUSICAL CIRCLES AS "MOONDOG CORNER") AND PLAY HIS COMPOSTIONS ON THE STREET ON INSTRUMENTS THAT HE BUILD HIMSELF, WEARING VIKING COSTUMES THAT HE SEWED BY HAND!!! A TOTAL GENIUS!!!
