I always considered this one to be more superior than Adventures. It had darker undertones, crisper animation and Robotnik was actually a frightening person.

@Htiman420 This show and The Real ghostbusters were and still are legitimately bad. Todays Saturday morning cartoons ARE shit but that doesn't mean good cartoons don't exist today.

I like this version better than the AoSth version for certain reasons...
1. Compared to the AoSth version, the Dr. Robotnik in the SatAM version is more badass...
2. Just like most of the 90's cartoons, the intro kicks ass...
3. Yeah, Princess Sally Acorn is awesome... And Bunnie Rabbot will definitely own Cream, who's also a rabbit in the Sonic X series...
4. The essence of RINGS in this series is a nod to the fans of the game

What happend to the real cartoons? I wake up Saturday mornings sit in front of the tv expecting to see (Sonic The Hedgehog(SATAM), Rugrats, and The Real Ghostbusters etc.) and all i see is some gay show called Fanboy and ChuChum and SpongeBob lol are you kidding me thats not a real cartoon We all want are real cartoons back

That's because they have to anime the crap out of everything like they're doing with the new Transformers.
This show was at least inventive and it had a good story to it.
