Windows 2000 was an excellent OS. When XP was released, everyone complained about how bloated it was. It took quite a while until people excepted it.

Oh gosh, very good. And started with mainframes, paper tape or cards, then TRS-80, then DOS 1.0 and on. I forgot all about the tests of games for machines. Some really good memories here, and how far we have come in a few years, ok a few dozen years ago. And I actually wrote a ROMBIOS for my company here, boy now does that hit some old days ago.

This video was absolutely fascinating; thank you for doing this!! Interesting contrast from Apple, whose software often doesn't last a year without some update for compatibility...

the 64-bit version doesn't have 16-bit support; maybe he was using 32 bit?

In theory, maybe, but it's not stable enough to use for the period it takes for a new version to be released. All three times I tried Ubunto and linux mint once it crashed and was irreprable.
