Logging in from Wellington. I have never thought that NZ entertainers were inferior just because they came from NZ. In the 1960s I bought heaps and heaps of NZ records because I liked them then and do you know what? I still like them today and yes they stand up to anything else that you can get your hands on. Nice post again Tasman!

Man,whoever posted all these old kiwi artists songs,bless your sweet hearts.They made my day.When they were 1st released we here in NZ suffered from an inferiority complex re our art & music.Looking back,wow how wrong we were,we were & are as good as the state of the art.

Oh my gosh! This song takes me back to AGGS (Auckland Girls' Grammar) when I was in the 4th Form. Chokes me up 'cause it's still beautiful after all these years and brings back some beautiful but emotional memories. :)
