Dueling guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela cut their teeth in metal bands but really shred when it comes to their Flamenco-inspired covers. 2009 saw the release of album 11:11. They were the audience favorite at KCRWs benefit show A Sounds Eclectic Evening a few years ago and youll hear why when they return to Morning Becomes Eclectic to play tributes to their favorite guitarists. This is the song that introduced me to them, when they played it on Conan. Loved them ever since. It's unfortunate that the video of them on Conan is no longer available. Damn NBC got it taken off of Rodyigo y Gabriela's own youtube channel!
