Screened at BAFTA, Dance on Screen and by special invitation at the Austrian Embassy; acquired by New York Lincoln Library for Performing Arts.

A documentary inspired by and featuring the late Hilde Holger, the revolutionary in Central European Expressionist Dance and a pioneer in choreography.

In this vanguard and maverick spirit, the film by Emma Grace chronicles a minute in the lives of three unconventional performers, in their own homes, who champion personal expression against all limitations.

I find Emma Grace's work evokes memories through use of shadows and angles. The sounds are also so natural and familiar and yet abstract. A very clever interesting view of the world.
