Thanks to the Dog's Trust rehoming centre at Roden for this beautiful, and entertaining dog!

**UPDATE**
For everyone wishing to know what kind of dog he is, my parents saw one that looks almost identical on a program called 'Countryfile'. It was a Border Collie crossed with an Australian Kelpie - so that's what we think Robbie ^ is.

My dog (Robbie) being ridiculous trying to get a 'stranger' to throw a stick for him. Look at the determination in this animal... ;-)

I believe the fun and excitement would far out weight the psychological trauma. Thank You.

  • Not abuse at all in my oppinion. The dog should be able to smell that this is no real person and missing it in pure excitement. Parents film their children in funny situations as well due to the fact that it is so innocent an cute.

  • Omg throw the damn stick for him lol

  • Just throw the damn stick!

  • That's just plain CRUEL!

  • The guys laughing really make this video so much funnier.

  • The dog and the owner planned this video for the $100,000 funniest video finally

  • That is pretty funny. I once watched my sisters dog attack a concrete bear that was about 24" tall. He was super pissed at the bear for being on his "turf" as my grandfather had just put it in his garden. Barking, snarling a couple snaps at the neck that never really made contact with the bear because the dog was probably actually to scared to actually bite the thing. He even tried to smell the bears behind.

  • @Gilch30 Trauma? No, I don't think so. The dog was simply confused and didn't understand what was going on and why that nice person sitting on the bench wouldn't throw the stick. But I wouldn't call it a trauma, this word is too strong. Traumas have long-term effects, I don't believe the situation from the video had one. It was only a temporal confusion for the dog. Absolutely nothing wrong - especially when compared to animal cruelty.
