Cats know what you want of them, you just have to convince them it's worth it. If you tell a dog to do something it's like "ok boss". If you tell a cat to do something and it stares at you, it's not confused as to what you want it's just like "why would I do that"? If it turn around and walks away, it's like "fuck you I'm a cat".
