Using a few simple techniques we will build and animate a business card in Flash. The idea is that when the user clicks the business card it flips over and diplays information on the back and when it is clicked again it flips back over and displays the front again. We will cover using the Motion Editor to tween using the 3D rotation tools in Flash CS4 as well as scripting the button to react to a click only when in a certain position. Check it out and have a blast.

  • Speak for yourself, If you try and cram 38 minutes of video into 10, you get a really crappy tutorial. He makes great tutvids and if you dissagree, you dont have to watch them,

  • Man, you are awesome! All your tutorials are spot on and easy to follow.

    It is hard to find an expert (like yourself) that can explain in detail the steps clearly.

  • I do not program in frames for flash, is this still possible to do with code initializing the animation?

  • An animated Business Card looks cool.

  • thanx

  • I'm using CS5... I'm doing the Color Animation and the whole thing just disappears once I'm done animating I and I go back into McMasterInner. I can't click it and set it to overlay. Any tips? Am I doing something wrong...?

  • @minhmeo1209 stop();

  • to those wondering how to stop that "jitter" he speaks of at the end (the reloading of the green swipe that he describes as "restarting"), you can do a quick fix to this. Go into the movie clip that contains that swipe and move the frames 20 frames ahead, so that those first 20 frames nothing happens.

  • Can you embed this into all of your emails as a saved document, so that every time that you send an email this .fla document shows up?

  • Thanks tut you are legend !:)

  • Remarkable!!! ^_^ Thx...
