Developed by Intel® and brought to market with technical collaboration from Apple®, Thunderbolt™ technology transforms the foundation of peripheral connectivity. By working closely with Intel and Apple to forge this exciting new era of storage, LaCie continues its rich history of leading the industry with breakthrough products that empower professionals and consumers alike.

  • I just can´t be more happy, it's shocking good, really. I love it. I just makes it easier and faster for those who deal with data every day.

  • @bookmoving I'm glad to hear you love it! What kind of work do you do?

  • I bought one this month but I have a doubt.

Can I make partitions on SSD? I want to install Windows 7 to use on my Macbook Pro to play game. Is this possible?

  • This month I bought my 240GB LaCie Little Big Disk SSD Thunderbolt.

  • Spin up speeds really only have a significant affect on the burst transfer rate and seek time from an idle state. Any sort of sustained transfer rate is not impacted by spin up speeds. If you're actually referring to the RPM's of the drive, there is an impact, but the 2Big still can sustain around 300MB/s... several times faster than FW or USB

  • wouldn't it be pointless if you're using a hdd?...the spin speeds will just choke it up..only the ssd would make sense with thunderbolt..

  • i don't think the average person will buy 4 thunderbolt hard drives. I mean, each one costs about 600 bucks

  • Anyone know what that case at :37 is?

  • @ILMORUZ

well thunderbolt does not support power....
