We were so inspired by the pictures we saw coming in from around the world on 350.org's Global Day of Climate Action, that we wanted to help. While the one-day event was called 'the most widespread day of political action in the planet's history,' we know that not everyone reads the newspapers. So we figured we'd try to get the point across the best way we know how--with clothes, or really, with the lack of clothes. We hope you'll get the point--feel free to watch it twice in case you got distracted the first time.

@Nightversionn,
As always, your ignorance is breathtaking.

SBVOR: Global Warming Forest Destruction Debunked
Here's a quote from the directly cited peer reviewed science:
“We investigated the tropical forest response to this rapid warming [during the PETM]… We observed a rapid and distinct increase in plant diversity and origination rates"
You cite baseless speculation on the part of hysteria mongers, I cite peer reviewed science examining an actual event.

Already on the decline, will global warming hasten demise of big trees?
.
Already on the decline worldwide, big trees face a dire future due to habitat fragmentation, selective harvesting by loggers, exotic invaders, and the effects of climate change, warns an article published this week in New Scientist magazine.

@Nightversionn,
Last winter, England was buried in snow & the climate alarmists said they knew all along global warming would bring MORE precipitation.
Now, just one year later, the climate alarmists are swearing global warming will cause all of England's rivers to dry up.
Seems to me all these charlatans (and the so-called "journalists" who pander to them) just make it up as they go (with every change in the weather).
You're a fool to fall for it -- but, we knew that already.

@Nightversionn,
Once again, your ignorance is breathtaking.
Google this, double quotes and all:
"In this case, the difference between the observed and simulated lines is very marked. It should be noted that the above observed values agree with the generally accepted global average precipitation of 1000mm to 1050 mm/year."
Climate models fail miserably at predicting global (or local) precipitation. Global precipitation is now back to where it was in 1900. It's a natural cycle.

Urgent action needed to prevent England's rivers drying up
.
Unless emergency measures are adopted, some of our finest waterways could be reduced to trickles over the next few decades. This is the stark warning of an Environment Agency study into the predicted impact of climate change on the flow of rivers in England and Wales by 2050.

Comrade @Nightversionn,
Google the following (double quotes and all) and examine the NOAA data:
"The bar chart below indicates there has been little trend in the frequency of the strongest tornadoes over the past 55 years."
Actually, the bar chart clearly demonstrates that severe tornadoes increased during the (AMO driven) global cooling period prior to 1979 and decreased during the (AMO driven) global warming period (which peaked and plateaued in 1998).

Did global warming destroy my hometown?
.
In the aftermath of the Joplin tornado, citizens, reporters and government officials scrutinised the warning system and promised to find out what went wrong. Was this tornado, by far the most devastating natural disaster the area had ever experienced, part of a pattern? Was climate change causing this insane weather?

Comrade @Nightversionn,
1) If you believe human activity is responsible for any of the ignorant hysteria mongering you promote, then Google the following and tell me how humans caused that:
Meltwater Pulse 1A
2) If you still think humans are responsible for all your "current events" "reporting", then you must believe that the Global Cooling of the last 9 years is to blame. Google this, pinhead:

Climate related flooding poses threat to Helsinki

According to an Environment Centre report published on Wednesday, floods are the greatest threat to the city of Helsinki posed by the warming climate.

1) Google the following & examine Arctic warming & cooling cycles described by Box, et al, 2009:
SBVOR: Recent Hysteria - Arctic Now Warmest in 2,000 years
2) Google the following & see the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation has CLEARLY been the primary driver of Arctic warming & cooling cycles:
SBVOR: How the AMO killed the CAGW cult
3) The AMO peaked & plateaued in 1998. Global temps have been flat since then and will remain flat until the next cooling cycle begins around 2018.
