"people use memes to make something funny instead of trying to think of thier own original content" Even if they're overused, ATLEAST internet memes are in the domain they belong (the internet), MAD doesnt seem to realise its limits, it horribly tries to mock TV shows, celebrites, or any other unheard of media its own bain dead audience never hear of, or even give a twos shits about.

I did point out what was wrong though, that people use memes to make something funny instead of trying to think of their own original content. Reddit is a good example of this as well as 9gag, take "Arrow to the knee" as an example, everyone spouts the meme even if they haven't played the game and it wasn't even funny to start with. The cake is a lie also is a pretty over used meme though it's faded out a bit.

Did the creators of MAd really just say that? These people now believe they set some kind of standard of comedy? Like they have any credentials to decide what touches the funny nerve? These same people who paired up Thor and Jersey Shore simply because it ryhmed? These people who still think its edgy and clever to say Justin Beieber sounds like a girl?
