  • I am a co as well, and find some of these comments amusing. I didn't take my job

for the approval or respect of the public or people in YouTube land. I took it because it provides a decent salary, great pension and benefits. Who cares if others don't like your job. We who do the job know what it takes to go to work everyday. It's all about adapting to your environment. Some officers can and others burn out. Stay safe.

  • Here's what some people dont seem to understand, someone has to do it... Most are too afraid. I have served this country, and I will be serving the community by working in the jail. If you dont have the intestinal fortitude to serve the country, or work in a jail keep your unwanted opinion to yourself... I am educated, but I need a fast paced job. Who wants to ride a desk doing the same shit every day? Not me!

  • @pholmes6975 Who wants shit thrown on them everyday? Not me.

  • when i retired from the Army i went to many job fairs and the prison systems were always there recruiting, after sitting through one of their briefing i realized being a CO wasn't the job for me, i have much respect for what those guys have to go through on a daily basis but i would rather do two more tours in iraq than be a CO because at least we got to carry weapons while in iraq.

  • @TheFunnysamnoob333 I come from a proud family tradition of prison guards My grandfathers worked in the German prisons where they really just murdered people or worked them to death. The guards could kill fifty prople a day if they were in a bad mood. Today in the USA you give the inmates good food and even health care and work is optional. Better inside the prison the living on the outside.

  • I pray to god master of the universe to give me the strength to never ever fucking end up in fucking damned prison... Mercy.

  • @crazyanimal187

save yourself the grief dude youd require a LONG time of training and shit before you could even think about sticking your nose past the damn door. then theres deealing with the assholes that have ego problems and soory to say in THAT place theres a LOT ( i'm better than you hahha yer on the inside whille I get to go home etc etc)

all bullshit ive seen happening for YEARS!

these guys really don't give a shit about anything but the fucking paper in their wallets

  • the problem is most the people working the jails and such have a seriously rampant ego and have NO compassion for anyone. not even a civilian. ran into one of those dumb fucks today actually. with people like THAT working the bloody centers no fucking wonder things have gone to shit on the inside

there has GOT to be some psychological assessment for stupid fucks with egos.. there seems to be too many in the section of LE and we DEFINATELY need to reduce THAT populace too many already as it is

  • hey man i wanna be a corrections officer to do you know how i would get the job

  • @dblc2708 I would like to work as a correctional officer, but not only for the salary or pension. There are many other things more important than moneys. One of them is the privilege to keep the outlaws behind the bars.

  • 0:29 looks like Stateville.
