Amazing idea behind this, to bad the people who really need it don't have the attention span to watch all of it. Or understand it because their isn't fireworks coming our of their tits. oh well enjoy you're cave. (though we are all essentially stuck in one cave or another, some better than others ;)

@Countrygent100 Someone can find this boring without being dumb, you know. The concept is certainly interesting, but I can see how the animation and low droning narration can make one drowsy. Just saying.

First things first: I love this! I've never really seen it to mean anything about/against any one particular type of mindset. It can be connected to anyone who believes anything. In our chained form we always believe that we understand and know the extent of our existence, but then find out more and start working towards the "outside world". The kicker is making sure we don't chain ourselves again by thinking prematurely that we have made it out of the cave. Always strive for bettering yourself.

@frtac Science and Academia is the new priesthood - "The Experts" that rally around an applecart to jealously defend their authority.
The shadows on the wall are the Myths of our world that are ingrained in us as our common history, the way we believe nations are against each other, that power shifts with regime change, that the news of the day is real, that the economy is real. All of this is for show, or like a giant movie for us in the cave.
