If Bush were to have committed this atrocity - it would have been front page news and been the lead in segment on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and MSNBC !!!
But Obama does it and gets a complete pass. Why? Because he's their messiah.
He can do NO wrong.

He's an empty suit! I live in Illinois and I never heard of him when he was in the state senate. that's because he never did anything. I don't know who is pulling his strings but I think that someone else is. As for me, I'll vote McCain/ Palin!!!!!

If Bush or Dan Quayle had done this, libs would have a field day. I can only imagine how much fun Keith Olbermann or Chris Matthews would have had with it.
Not to mention Letterman or Leno.
He'll be better prepared for the debates, no doubt. Still, it got no play on mainstream media.
One CNN talking head said that any gaffes he makes just make him seem more human. What a crock. Let a conservative do this and they are an idiot. Obama does it, he's more endearing.

The difference is Bush would talk like this in every speech, Obama has only made a few of these flubs. It is not a shock that these guys that talk non-stop like this make mistakes, it was just funny that Bush made them everyday and all of the time. He was a real treat to hear speak live!

and that's because Obama ALWAYS travels with his teleprompter now (after this royal flub). Even his White house press conferences, which Bush pulled off QUITE well but Obama uses a teleprompter. yes it has become our TOTUS - Teleprompter of the United States
