I agree with the person who commented they don't understand why we don't hear this song
on radio. Stations have become too corporate.
Gerry was one of the best musicians- no doubt about that.

Somebody here used the term underrated... Man, how true that is. Gerry in the 70s had a way of blind siding you with one amazing song after another. To this day, Baker Street is one of my favorite all time recordings.

Takin' me back, to the fall of 1978...going home to Ohio on leave from Ft. Campbell on the Western Kentucky Parkway in the middle of the night driving a 69 Dodge R/T with Gerry Rafferty in my 8 track keeping me awake. God bless you Gerry.

Well if your reading this I guess you know now of Gerry dying..Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family...GERRY YOU'LL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED AS A LEGEND TO US THAT WERE 16 OR WHATEVER IN 1977-78...I just found out a few hours ago of your passing...Now after I get off of work I'm going to go home and listen to City to city and remember the great songs that you wrote and sang...Thank you 4 the memories !!!
