@GoyleTheGargoyle Well obviously, there are people who would find music like the Beatles later in life and would not have grown up around it. I was just saying that the norm is usually that you have some sort of influence by the music early in life.

Honestly people, when it comes to taste in music, it's what you were raised around. I was raised around parents that listened to ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Ac/DC, The Beatles, etc.....
So, now that I'm 20, it's the music I listen to. all of my friends also listen to the same types of music. If you were raised around it, you like it. If you were raised around rap and hip-hop, then that's what you'll like the most probably. Why can't people just leave others alone about their musical tastes?
