I work for a TV station in Indianapolis, Indiana (WISH-TV). We are working on a story that might benefit from using this video. Can you grant us the authority to do that?

Hi Eric,
By all means, use what you need. PM me your address and I'll send you the DVD version which has better resolution than this, might be more useful for TV.

A side-to-side shoulder-to-shoulder charge is allowed. You can't charge someone from the front, but if he's charging at you from the front then you're allowed to hold your stick across your chest and hold your position. Incidental contact is also allowed.

it is the oldest part of Irish Culture even older than Gaeilge,it highlights the country's warrior roots.Colonialism by the British Empire nearly eradicated the Irish language, caused the death of a million Irish people by famine and the immigration of millions more but the one thing that gave Irish people a reason to congregate,a sense of Identity-that they were unique and worthy of ruling themselves was "iomáint"-Hurling is the Ethos of Ireland

Not the same, but quite similar. They derived from the same game. In hurling you can catch the ball, which you can't do in shinty. Also shinty players only shoot for goals, hurlers shoot for points as well.

There is! Most American clubs would be in New York, Boston, and other cities by the east coast but pretty much anywhere there's a few Irish immigrants there will be hurling!
