@HAMWI253 Yeah, that's what I said. "I overheard Mac Geniuses (and managers) telling people to use windex and newspaper on more than one occasion." You don't have to believe me, but I'll say it again: I used to work for Apple, and we received no training whatsoever on the care and maintenance of devices. When people (even managers) tell you to use Windex, it's out of ignorance. Not trying to be argumentative, just trying to save your display! :) --mj

@HAMWI253 Not to be a hater or anything, but I used to work for Apple, and most of them are not educated in that regard. Unless they've taken it upon themselves to do the research, they're just giving you their "best guess." Unfortunately, there's no training regarding the general maintenance of any of their products (cleaning, best practices for batteries, etc). I overheard Mac Geniuses (and managers) telling people to use windex and newspaper on more than one occasion. --mj

Where in my past did I learn Magnetic drivers were not a good thing? Was this a true thing in the past? I'm a risk taker so I use whatever driver, that may even have been magnetic, as well as not using a static bracelet, just ground first.,. I'm a bad geek!

@TheLivingDeadOne Magnetic drivers aren't strong enough to damage your hard drive, so you're fine. :) ..mj

Nice tote bag!

@JordanMorris Hey! Not going to lie: I just fangirled a little. Regarding the tote bag: I carry it everywhere in the hopes of having chance encounters with other MaxFunsters, and have had a lot of fun seeing where our audiences intersect. (I'm convinced that the overlapping portion the Venn diagram of MaxFunsters and Fixers is comprised of the upper-echelon of the nerd community.) Oh, and if you're looking for job with little street-cred and no glamor, I've got a set of screw drivers for you.
