Song used: Epica - Consign to Oblivion
Camera used to record A/V: Canon PowerShot SX130 IS

They are good looking cheap with nice sound so i really recommend them for the price they are given.

I bought them for 21.90€ from e-shop.gr in Greece. It was a "Crazy Sundays" offer. The actual price is i think 33€ or something like that.

The Speakers have a Volume Control and a Tone Contol (turning it left gives more bass and right gives more treble). There are also 2 input jacks (Line in and Headphones).

Color :Brown wood
RMS (Watts) :14
Driver unit : Woofer: 3" 4Ω
:Tweeter: 1.5" 6Ω
Frequency Response :100Hz~20KHz
Signal-to-noise ratio : 82dB

  • what song is this? it's awesome!

  • @thecomedymaker i say that in the description :P

It's from the band Epica, album Consign to Oblivion, song Consign to Oblivion.

  • cool speakers, would you recommend these as speakers for a keyboard?

  • @TheStrangevideos Well, i use them as monitors when i write music but I sometimes need some more volume u know... but for the price they are really really nice. Dont forget they are made as PC Speakers but i think u can be pleased playing with a keyboard.

PS. If your budget can go a little higher go for Genius SP-HF 1255 2.0 @ 40W with 50euros ;)

  • @devaggos i have a midi keyboard, so the sound will be coming out of my laptop. do they play lows well and does it distort at high volumes?

  • @TheStrangevideos Well they do at max max volume but they respond so much better than anything in the market at this price. As i said earlier you are asking for monitors, so if u have budget for something better go for it, but as pc speakers they are really good even for some simple monitoring at a small room.

  • @thecomedymaker Oh <okay how lazy of me, Thanks

  • @devaggos thanks for your feedback. i already have some decent monitors for my main PC. but these should fit my needs for my keyboard and laptop.

  • Note: the internal 110V transformer does NOT have tapping for other voltages

For those wanting to disassemble speakers (e.g. to replace transformer for a different mains voltage), don't try to do this from the rear.

Remove the tweeter screws (leave the controls alone - they are fine as they are).

Next use this access hole to insert a closed pair of long nosed pliers which you can then open to pry the front off - it looks like the front is held on with screws but it isn't, it just pops off.

  • good
