what you mean raised the bar? It's on its highest or better, deepest point now lol. There isn't something deeper than the Mariana Trench on earth, he finished it. Only if other engineers succeed in crafting other machinery that can stay there longer they will break this overwhelming record.

And where and when can we see the documentary? Do National Geographic have an hour or so of this trip down the ocean floor?

But think how much more impressive was the drive of Jacques Piccard, who did the same thing using 1950's technology, and using what effectively was a gasoline filled underwater balloon.

have read his autobio, not at all surprised he was the one to do this. he has love the water and oceans and diving the unknown and pushing the limits since he was young. his movies are evidence.

In the spring of 2012 our underwater exploration research team discovered what seems to be the top of an underwater pyramid along with an adjacent circular wall in an area beneath the waters in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas within the Bermuda Triangle. In 2013 we plan to revisit to further uncover this mystery. Interested parties please contact us at bermudapyramid@gmail.com
