but thats not it though, i think so anyway, its how she messed with his emotions and she expected him to chase after her no matter how many times she 'rejected' him, and he did because he was blinded by love. but, he stopped after a while, gave up, which is when she realised how much she loved him, but by that time it was too late, he had let go. deep shit.

This is one of the most touchy and beautiful animation I've ever watch. You're a big inspiration for me, I definitely want to reach this kind of level when I turn an animator, to be able to stamp emotions and feelings in people's heart. No matter how many times I play this always going to make me cry. I get simply amazed with such a huge charge of emotions in only 3:06 minutes. A masterpiece. Congratulations!!!

both of those interpretations are fine. I feel for myself it shows the struggling journey of relationships and friendships. You're alone and then you find someone that you get to know and support each other and then things change and for whatever reason you move on. If you notice, her ending pose has a similar feel to how his beginning pose is. Its like a cycle, you could easily continue with her from the end, meeting a glowing partner and dancing with him, in a way repeating itself.
