@cubitsuper Exactly. At my first job a cycling shop that's the way I was trained to apply handlebar wrap. I've never in my life used the little strips of tape that come with a new box of handlebar wrap. Same goes with the two short strips of wrap that come with a new box. I just throw them away over my shoulder. If a person knows how to properly wrap bars they're useless.

@ReneeNme Starting at the stem has a weight advantage without the necessity of electrical tape.

annoyingly crooked as f*ck.

Holy Cow! It's "Triple Malt Andy" from Shroudsburg, PA. Nice! I like to use some of the old tape. I wrap from the stem to the bottom of the gear changer with good piece from the old tape, then wrap with the new color. Extra comfy! Then I proceed to call Andy and go to his place and sample the worlds best and rarest scotch(s). Great video, thanks much TRIPLE MALT ANDY lookalike!Xoxoxoxoxoxo

thanks, now my wrap looks like the bike shop did it!

I wish that bike shops around here had their own house Jazz band.
That would be epic, and would result in me spending a lot more time there!

Why has this man got a ragtime jazz band hidden away in his workshop ? Doesn't he know ? Is he deaf ?.......Nice job though.

Is that finishing tape white electrical tape?

Try being real and start next to the stem next time.

Did Michael J. Fox record this?
Agreed. Sorry 'bout that. We'll get it right next time. --DM

Poor vid. Can't see what he's doing initially.

@jack123ie Also agreed. This was really just a last-second thing, so next time I'll try to do it proper. Cheers for the comment, though.
