I am 41 years old, and still get excited when this christmas special comes on. What wonderful memories this brings to my mind. My parents are both gone now, but I remember us popping pop corn and watching this every year. Thank you for posting this.
It used to be that I would cry when Charlie put the ornament on the tree and said "Everything I touch gets ruined". Now I cry at the end of this clip where all the children announce at the newly-decorated tree, "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!". It's just too poignant all around.
This still makes me cry. Oh those childhood memories of the Christmas season. It's funny that the TV execs didn't want to air this special because they thought it was "too religious".

If its because your mom loved Mr. Miller Lite while pregnant with you, then its pitiable and hilarious. You blockhead.
