Flying from Orlando, FL I had the rare opportunity to be able to watch Discovery's final launch as it embarks on STS-133.

A shuttle can barely travel into Earth's orbit, and you expect it to cross a galaxy?!

Interestingly. Jarrah White considers the possibility that Dave Scott's arm brushed the flag as he passed. This makes some sense.

The width of the swinging is so low that air dampening is negligible, just like it would be with a chain at a higher width. If vibration were the cause, there would be noticible movement of the rod and pole. The nature of the movement is consistent with the atmosphere explanation and inconsistent with all the moon explanations.

It moves because of vibration from the astronaut passing - he's travelling at a fair rate compared to the times he was close to the flag before. I have no problem with this video at all. What really matters is the behaviour of the flag once in motion: the way that the very bottom tip of the flag move is pretty representative of motion in a vacuum - if it was filmed at normal air pressure, the damping effect would make it stop immediately. It carries on swinging as there's no air to stop it.

I didn't say sign up there and debate there. I said look at the summary of hoax proof there. We can talk about it here. Let's start with this.

its crazy how the shuttle curves slowly like that, you can see how it strugles and barely gets into orbit

Maybe some day we will have strong enough space ships to do more

The same arguments are used on here (moon rocks, radiation, blah blah) - no need to sign up to a new site, particularly a Tottenham Hotspur fan site. I will continure to argue right here.

It hasn't been debunked. Let's hear you address some of the actual evidence.
