Pure genius ! Imagine where we'd be now, if we'd spend the last 30 years building and expanding this system. There would be no pollution problem, oil crisis, etc....no worrying about car repairs, depreciation, etc.

Zwischen der Straße "Am Tempel " und " Oberste Hülsberg ", wenn ich mich recht erinnere. Ich habe die Anlage seiner Zeit auch im Betrieb gesehen ( war als kleiner Junge mit Papa mal da ). Schau doch mal auf Google Earth nach. Dort kann man noch Umrisse der Anlage erahnen.

For example, you would take this from your house to the center of town, switch to a high speed prt to another town, and this from the center of that town to your work.

I think the greatest advantage to this system compared to others like it is that it can have two directions on one track. It can have single loop with two directions, therefore reducing construction costs. This combined with other, more higher speed systems could really provide all the mass transit needs of a region. This in cities and suburbs, the higher speed Air Tran, being developed by nasa, between cities, and high speed trains between regions. continued in next comment...

Really love this idea but has anyone noticed when they input the "station code" they put in 10 but when they are leaving the building clearly says 02 this is probably because (according to wikipedia) the final test track only had 6 stations.

Das Kabinentaxi selber wurde in Hagen getestet und die Bilder aus der Fahrgastperspektive wurden in Wuppertal aus der Schwebebahn gemacht.
