wow. everything about that was terrible. i'm not typically one to prefer newer versions of things, but radcliffe blew morse out of the water. radcliffe was energetic in a good way while morse's energy simply appears retarded. also i didn't feel like radcliffe was gonna eat me the whole time :P

thumbs up if Robert Morse reminds you of a singing Jim Carrey

@WorldCupSeoul It's true. I played reeds in the pit for a community production, and we all got kazoos. Very clever.

Would anyone else like to see Matthew Broderick play this role?

It's a secret dream of mine to someday play the role of J Pierpont Finch someday and perform this number on a broadway stage. To bad I'm a girl :(

I Robert Morse gives the character more life and feeling!

Guys that are saying Dan is better well alot of people say the original is the best well Robert Morse is the original cast member of How to succeed in business.

That's funny, he said Seeker and I noticed and thought it was funny but no one said anything and I thought I was the only one who got it. xD
I went for DanRad, but stayed because the play was excellent.

Everyone in the theater flipped out when he said "Seeker" and I wanted to throw things. This is my fave part, and everyone was completely blindsided by it being Dan Rad. They missed out on complete genius because of the word "Seeker". Like, really?! I wuv you HP fans, but please respect us How To Succeed In Business Fans...
I think in the live show the orchestra has to play kazoos during the shaving. A great moment for the pit.

The Radcliffe version will sell it's tickets to his fans, but NYC knows better than to buy into these movie star vehicles. Morse is like a musical theatre genius. Just watch ALL the stuff his character does in this scene to be funny, while singing his heart out in the executive washroom.
