He's not going against the bible, he just has a nuanced perception of the ideas in the bible, like any self-respecting preacher should. Most of the bible is ALLEGORY (especially genesis, but that's besides the point). There's a reason the Christian church no longer marries polygamist couples, or forces rapists and victims to marry, and if you study the bible, you'll see why.

There's nothing wrong with segregation as long as both parties involved are fine with it.

And there's no right or wrong side of "history". Because history has no moral implications.

As a matter of fact , most people (including myself) are monumental hypocrites. We gladly laugh at this idiot , and yet , a majority of us segregate ourselves in real life. The very same people who preach about the benefits of "diversity" or "multiculturalism", rarely live in majority black neighborhoods.
