Vincent D'Onofrio as Thor in the 1987 film "Adventures in Babysitting." I wonder if this was filmed before or after he filmed FMJ! A great little clip!

@MrDogwalker100 He actually gained 70 lbs for the role of Pvt. Pyle in 6 months and it took 9 months to lose it. At the time, that was a world record for the most weight gained for a movie role. He beat Robert De Niro by 10 lbs in preparation for his role in Raging Bull.

You know what's really amazing? He was 280 pounds when he did the Gomer Pyle character and then he dropped the weight and bulked up in time to play this character.

I watched that scene when I was nine and it's still one of my favorite movie scenes of all time.

It's hard to believe he was "Gomey Pyle" in Full Metal Jacket. Not to mention that he did both movies in the same year.
