Debugger Canvas pulls together the code you're exploring onto a single pan-and-zoom display. As you hit breakpoints or step into code, Debugger Canvas shows just the methods that you're debugging, with call lines and local variables, to help you see the bigger picture.
Debugger Canvas is the result of a collaboration between Brown University and Microsoft, integrating ideas from Brown University's Code Bubbles™ project into Visual Studio.
Please see http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/projects/DebuggerCanvas or http://blogs.msdn.com/kaelr for more details.

Anything to help visualize where you are in code and how you got there is a good thing. This looks really nice.

Cool demo. What benefits do floating code windows give over multiple code windows stacked side by side (similar to diff tools, but with more than 2 code windows)?
