You make assumptions as to whether people are really Christian or not (which only that person and God can know), you say that if interracial marriage had been put to a popular vote it would have won (even though people were overwhelmingly against it at the time), and you make baseless statements about homosexuality and homosexuals.

Yes, the Bible is the root of all evil. That's why it condemns murder, rape, theft, violence against the innocent, slavery, hate, dishonesty, etc, and it is why it promotes charity, caring for those in need, self-sacrifice, love, honestly, humility, etc.

The bible condones slaves and instead of telling people that owning slaves, it actually doesn't even prohibit it and its the reason why christians owned plantations as well as slaves. FYI... christians seem to use Leviticus against homosexuals, but there are many prohibitions in there against eating shellfish as well. I hope you don't frequent Red Lobsters too, because you'd be going to hell if you do. Chances are those weren't Christians. The Bible teaches that all are equal before God, and that we should love our neighbors as ourselves.

The people have the right to define their own marriage policy. This is not a civil rights issue. Believe it!

Actually no they aren't. They are making their lives worse. Homosexuality is a dangerous and self-destructive practice. It harms the mind, body, and soul. So when you argue in favor of it you argue for the destruction of those who practice it.

The homosexual special rights movement is one that fights to keep people enslaved to that destructive behavior. It is slavery for their minds.

Opposing homosexuality is the answer to the betterment of their lives, as is the rest of the word of God.
