    When she was asking him to pour the water in the jelly, he picked up the jelly when she had only got as far as "Pour the water-". So perhaps he didn't quite understand the individual elements of that request, rather the whole.

    That's wonderful. However (just a small thought) - it seemed to me when you stopped her (?) pouring coke, maybe she would think she had got it wrong.
