Elizabeth Taylor - Michael Jackson - by Richard Bassett

The friendship between Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson began in 1985. Just as Elizabeth was obtaining the foundation to tackle HIV/AIDS discrimination in America...she met Michael Jackson. Their common bond has been working since they were very young children, thus, being robbed of a childhood but now they, no doubt, love each other very much. It is a very special, private relationship... not to be discussed or picked apart by those who know no better. In my eyes, Michael is a special man, vindicated from horrendous accusations and....as a fan, I intuitively believe that he will make the biggest comebacks in the history of show business. It is in the stars. Dame Elizabeth's attachment to complex, multi-dimensional people goes back to 1949 when her friendship with Montgomery Clift began. Monty was a tormented soul. She always knew the strength that was needed to maintain balance in this entertainment industry and has always possessed it herself. Her need for HIV/AIDS fundraising does not stem from wanting to feel important or prove anything to the world. It comes from her heart and soul. It comes from experiencing such loss that has encompassed her for two decades now. In the most egotistical, self-serving business that exists today, she gives of herself freely choosing to ignore all of that other superfluous stuff. Please donate if you can.

@aeronuk1 What was weird about them? Because they march 2 a different beat. Probably why they were such good friends, because they were their own ppl. I salute them both 4 being Strong Soldiers dealing w/ issues & complications, sometimes being treated less then human. Things Probably the average man couldn't take.
