The Virtual Revolution Intro (BBC)

This is the introduction to The Virtual Revolution, a four part series airing next week on BBC Two about how the web is changing the world. In the spirit of the program, the production team invited the internet to sound their opinions on the program's content, format, and title.

I thought up some interesting ideas we could do with the upcoming technology of lets say 2060. Take a sphere of cameras all facing toward the centre of the sphere and with cameras on top of those cameras facing out of the camera (like a flys eye) but of course within the inner directions too then record. Have as many spheres as you want, maybe spheres making up a bigger sphere

then turn this info digital, with neurotech have chips on the subjects brain and let this info enter their brain.

The web this, the web that, apparently most people dont realize that "the web" is just a frontend to the internet. The internet is alot more intricate and complex than people realize. If anything "the web" is a very minor, albeit very loud part of the internet. As a person who was raised when the internet was pioneering, I understand all its complexity and consider the way people use it nowadays to be rather poor. Shopping? News site? Warez? All very poor uses of a great tool.
