SOOOOO GOOD! When I first saw the track listings for "Americana", I thought, "I know I will like this as an ultimate fan, but this could be a disaster to the occasional Neil Young fan". Then I bought the album today and gave it my first listen. Wow! This is a triumph that any music lover should take inspiration from. I'm ditching my acoustic guitar for this weekends camping trip and pulling out my electric. Neil has given a whole new meaning to the campfire sing along.Thank You again Neil.

According to the "Americana" liner notes, some people believe the "she" in "She'll Be Coming 'Round the Mountain" refers to Mother jones, the great union organizer who fought against coal company gun thugs and helped organize coal mines around the turn of the 20th century.That would make "Jesus' Chariot" the 2nd coal mining song on "Americana", along with Billy Edd Wheeler's classic "High Flyin' Bird".
